Wholesale Metal Grinders

For many smokers in the UK, grinders are a crucial purchase. The most effective grinders are compact and portable, and metal grinders are especially well-liked due to their strength and construction. They are typically made from materials such as aluminium or stainless steel, which are sturdy and resistant to wear and tear. Metal grinders also usually have sharp, durable teeth that can grind herbs quickly and effectively, producing a consistent, fine grind.

Metal herb grinders are generally considered to be higher-quality than plastic grinders for several reasons. Plastic grinders are typically less durable and may crack or break over time, especially with frequent use. They may also produce a less consistent grind and may be more difficult to clean.

Using a metal herb grinder is a fairly straightforward process. Here are the general steps:

  1. Take off the top lid of the grinder. You should see two pieces with sharp, diamond-shaped teeth inside.
  2. Place your herb or tobacco on the teeth of the bottom piece. Be sure not to overfill it or pack it too tightly, as this can make it harder to grind and may damage the grinder.
  3. Put the top lid back onto the bottom piece and twist it back and forth a few times. This will grind up the herb or tobacco and cause it to fall through the holes in the bottom piece and collect in the middle chamber.
  4. Continue grinding until the desired consistency is achieved. You may need to shake or tap the grinder periodically to make sure all the herb or tobacco is falling through to the middle chamber.
  5. Once you are done grinding, unscrew the bottom piece to access the middle chamber where the ground herb is collected. You can then use it as desired, such as packing it into a bowl or rolling it into a joint.

Many metal grinders include multiple “tiers” which are designed to separate the plant material from the “kief” or “pollen”. Commonly these are called “four tier” grinders. These designs allow the kief to fall to the bottom of the grinder, through a fine metal mesh, where it is collected and saved.

JM Distro has only the most reliable brands of metal grinders, all of which are of the finest calibre. Most of the grinders you'll see here are between 50mm and 60mm in size and contain three, four, or five components (although we also have some extra-large grinders). You may find something for each of your consumers among our many designs, styles, and colours, as well as our magnetic grinders.
