Wholesale E-Liquids

One of the most important products in your vape shop’s inventory is your e-liquid selection. E-liquid is the liquid that is poured into a vape kit (or comes in a disposable vape kit) and is heated up by a coil, to produce vapour.

There are several variables to consider when selecting e-liquids including flavour, nicotine strength and PG/VG (Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin) ratio. With literally thousands of flavours out there, and hundreds of different combinations available, you will have no end of choices when providing customers with e-liquids. Appealing to all tastes is the challenge, so your inventory should be varied.

Our wholesale e-liquids come in various flavours including tobacco blends, fruit, desserts, cocktails, and foods. The most popular flavours are fruit and tobacco, which should almost certainly be staple products in your inventory.

E-liquids also come in a variety of nicotine strengths from 20mg (which is legally the highest strength you can sell) to 0mg. When stocking up your supply, make sure you have a range of nicotine strengths as well as shortfills and nicotine salts for those who want to create their own blends.

E-Liquids appeal towards two types of vaping: Mouth to Lung (MTL) and Direct to Lung (DTL). MTL resembles cigarette smoking and means you inhale the vapour into your mouth before then letting it access your lungs. The other type is where you inhale straight into your lungs. The e-liquid you choose should be formulated to one type or the other.

Finally you should be aware that e-liquids contain varying PG and VG levels. The higher the VG level, the smoother the throat hit and thicker the clouds. The higher the PG level, the stronger the throat hit and stronger the taste. Customers will enjoy a variety, but most will select a 50/50 ratio of VG and PG.

No matter which e-liquid you need, we are sure JM Distro will have it. Check out our extensive range of e-liquids.

Wholesale E-Liquids Q & A

How is wholesale e-liquid made?

Wholesale e-liquid is made using three core ingredients, and an optional fourth. The first ingredient is Propylene Glycol. This is a safe ingredient that is fit for human consumption. The second is Vegetable Glycerin which is also commonly found in consumable products and safe to use. Then these are mixed with a flavouring. You can choose to have a fourth ingredient, which is either nicotine or CBD.

Can you make your own e-liquid?

Yes. JM Distro supply DIY e-liquid products which include the Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin you need, as well as e-liquid flavouring and nicotine salts. You can also buy shortfills, which are larger bottles of 0mg e-liquid, and are then mixed with nicotine salts to your preference. It is safe to make your own e-liquid but we recommend you do some research first in regards to calculating quantities to ensure you do not have too much of one ingredient.

How many e-liquid flavours are there?

There are thousands of bulk e-liquid flavours out there, from classic choices like cream tobacco and strawberry, to more adventurous blends like wedding cake, key lime pie and white chocolate mocha. A variety of e-liquids will suit all tastes, including sweet, sour and realistic tobacco flavours.

How do I use an e-liquid?

E-liquids are bought to refill vape kits. You simply undo the vape kit, pour in the e-liquid and then reseal the kit ready to vape. It is not needed for disposable vaping.

What does VG/PG mean?

Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin are two ingredients used in e-liquids and normally come in a ratio of 50/50. Sometimes customers want a different vaping experience. People who prefer thicker clouds will want a higher VG level. So the ratio might be 60 VG, 40 PG. Some people might want a strong throat hit, in which case they need a higher PG level.

Can e-liquid expire?

Yes, any consumable product will have an expiry date but e-liquids do have a long shelf life as long as they are stored properly.

How should e-liquid be stored?

E-liquids should be stored in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.

Shortfills, Nicotine Salts and DIY E-liquids

How to make your own e-liquid

It is very possible to make your own e-liquid and this is often the preference of more advanced vapers. By having DIY e-liquid resources in your inventory, you can cater to this specific customer need.

Each e-liquid consists of three main ingredients - flavouring, vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). The fourth ingredient is nicotine or CBD - both are optional. So, first and foremost, you need to supply these ingredients as individual products for customers to purchase. Check out our DIY section

The VG and PG ratio is crucial because it dictates the vaping experience and altering these quantities can completely change the vaping quality. The more VG you have, the thicker the cloud and smoother the throat hit. The more PG you have, the more intense the flavour and stronger the throat hit.

If you want to make your own e-liquid to sell to customers or to try yourself, here are the steps to take.

Step 1

You need some equipment, which you can find in our DIY section

  • VG liquid and PG liquid.
  • Vape juice flavour concentrates
  • Nicotine salts
  • A syringe / pipette
  • Measuring jugs
  • E-liquid empty bottles
  • Gloves
  • A vape juice calculator

Step 2

Use your vape juice calculator. This helps you to determine how much of each ingredient you will need to use. You could get unwell if you put too much nicotine in, so it’s important that you use the calculator to work this out properly and do not cut any corners.

Step 3

Mix your PG and VG together first in the quantities dictated by the calculator. Then add in the flavouring and then any nicotine salts.

Step 4

Pop your final mixture into the e–liquid bottles and store in a cool dark place for 4-5 days. Then you can begin using or selling your e-liquid.
